About Us

 

Dr. Myers is a computer scientist and cognitive psychologist with over 20 years experience in education, software development and business management. He provides the strategic vision and directs TwinACT's product development and project management efforts. Dr. Myers was co-founder and CTO for PNBC, a startup serving the events industry, where he provided strategic direction, managed the technology division and developed online technologies. PNBC produced more than 50 event Web sites for major conferences and tradeshows including Comdex, Networld Interop and PC Expo. His research experience includes the development of AI, knowledge-based and natural language software systems for Hughes Aircraft Company and the University of Southern California's Information Sciences Institute.

For the past 10 years, Ms. Lin has been deeply involved in the design of Web sites, marketing materials and software interfaces. Prior to co-founding TwinACT, Ms. Lin created award-winning designs for Portal Publications and was the Graphic Design Manager for PNBC where she was responsible for the design and production of event Web sites such as Comdex and PC EXPO. She began her career working in product branding and packaging at Dan-Dee International and in product branding and marketing promotion at Han Jian Advertising Company, one of the premier advertising agencies in Taiwan serving Fortune 100 companies.

Mr. Allard has programmed computers for over 30 years and followed the evolution of the computing industry since the 1960s when his father worked as a computer hardware designer. He worked as a researcher in software engineering prior to becoming a software consultant. He has done system and application software design on UNIX and Windows platforms in domains varying from financial to scientific to computer graphics and has written on both technical and cultural aspects of computing. He considers his specialties to be computer science, problem solving, and computer programming. Dennis is the founder of Ocean Park Software.
